“Every hour wounds, but the last one kills.” – Anonymous
The new EP titled Fragile Machine to be released on July 6th, 2018, explores the questions of what comes next in human evolution. What does it mean to be a human, if consciousness can be stored in a machine?
The artwork depicts an enormous server cube floating in space, after the technological singularity, which contains mankind’s digitized minds living forever in an infinite dream created from code. The material christened ‘Scorecore’ by the band, ranges in dynamics and will resonate with fans familiar with heavy weights such as Soilwork, Amaranthe, and In Flames.

Embracing the mentality of a collective art project, the core members–ex-Divinity guitarist Alan Sacha Laskow (ENDITOL, the Order of the Gray, Walk As Chaos), bassist Brent Stutsky (ex-Breach of Trust, ex-Death Valley Dolls), along with vocalist Jerrod Maxwell-Lyster (ex-Out of Your Mouth, ex-Autobody, ex-the R.A.C.E.) pulled together an insanely talented cast of collaborators including:

Guest Vocals by Andrew Ivashchenko (Shokran), Renny Carroll (Flux Conduct), Jonathan Thorpenberg (The Unguided), David Chunn (Vallite) and Mark Haggblad (Unveil the Strength)
Guest Guitar Solos by Andy James, Mattias IA Eklundh, Daniele Gottardo and Paul Wardingham.

Additional Guitar Production by Carson Slovak (August Burns Red, Everclear)

The self titled first EP was released by the band in 2015 to critical acclaim, leading to live performances with: Godsmack, Apocalyptica, Trivium, Obey the Brave, Into Eternity, and Kobra and the Lotus, as well as Premieres with Revolver and Metal Underground, and collaborations with production heavyweights like Joey Sturgis and Will Putney. The band was awarded a music video grant for “Almost Human” from Telus Storyhive and primary composer Sacha was the featured artist for Toontrack Metal Month: https://www.toontrack.com/news/customer-spotlight-alan-sasha-laskow/

Generation X is known as being the generation of slackers, cynical and disaffected, but they’re also the MTV Generation, and they demand excellence in their music. As the traditional industry has deconstructed, fame increasingly narrowed to a small minority of bands, this generation of fans have continued to support and eagerly anticipate the raw, unfiltered experience of their rock Gods. Now, as a new rock music culture emerges, one defined by fans and artists rather than labels and MTV, LOUDWIRE’s GEN-X SUMMER WITH BUCKCHERRY, P.O.D., LIT and ALIEN ANT FARM is set to remind us that rock never died.

“You’re gonna get your money’s worth on this one, the Gen X Summer tour is gonna be one to remember for sure. I love these bands. We all came out around the same time exploding onto the scene with great summertime hits and an awesome live show get your tickets now at genxsummer.com and let’s get wild and loose!” – Josh Todd (Buckcherry)

Anaheim based Buckcherry burst onto the scene in 1999 with their now classic, self-titled debut album quickly skyrocketing them into the ranks of top modern rock bands. Hit singles “Lit Up”, “For the Movies”, “Dead Again”, and “Check Your Head” brought the celebration back to the party scene, recalling the gritty glam impact of Mötley Crüe but with a Gen X demanded, modern self awareness . Later albums continued to develop their reputation for volatile, mercurial themes and infectious hooks; such singles as “Crazy Bitch,” “Everything,” “Too Drunk,” and “All Night Long” became screaming choruses for fans across the world. With their irreverent and bawdy lyrics, delivered with frontman Josh Todd’s whisky weathered vocals, paired with filthy guitar riffs and high energy, throbbing bass lines, Buckcherry has sustained a hard earned reputation for being the very definition of Rock Stars through 7 hot selling full length albums and an EP, as well as maintaining a not-to-be-missed live presence with regular touring schedules alongside such fellow legends as Mötley Crüe and Papa Roach. Buckcherry’s current line up includes front-man Todd along with Stevie D. (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), Kelly LeMieux on bass, Kevin Roentgen (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Sean Winchester(Drums).”

“This is the good vibes, Rock & Roll tour of the summer. A bunch of friends hitting the road together and playing music we love for more friends across the states.” – Sonny (P.O.D.)

P.O.D. (Payable on Death) emerged from the San Diego metal scene in 1992, and their massive fan following quickly found them signed and releasing their top selling album, The Fundamental Elements of Southtown. The singles “Southtown,” “Rock the Party (Off the Hook),” and “School of Hard Knocks” became instant radio and MTV hits, which was followed by the RIAA-certified triple platinum album, Satellite. The lead single off of Satellite, Grammy nominated “Alive,” is recognized as a modern rock classic both for the raw talent and uplifting message. P.O.D. has continued to produce top quality metal music over the past 2 decades, seamlessly infusing dark, melodic metal with uplifting inspiration and hope. They’ve maintained a touring presence throughout, whether headlining their own or performing alongside Alter BridgeDisturbedIn This MomentRammsteinThe Offspring, and Godsmack. P.O.D.’s current line up is Sonny Sandoval (Lead Vocals), Marcos Curiel(Lead Guitar, Programming, Backing Vocals), Traa Daniels (Bass, Backing Vocals), and Wuv Bernardo (Drums, Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals).

“We’re super excited to tour with our long time friends and colleagues of 20+ years this summer. It’s going to be a real hoot, to say the least!” – Kevin Baldes (Lit – Bass)

Fullerton, CA’s Lit came together in the late 80s and shot to stardom with the release of their Billboard topping second album, A Place in the Sun, via RCAin 1998. The first single, Billboard Music award winning “My Own Worst Enemy,” became one of the biggest hits of the year. The following singles, “Zip-Lock” (featuring Blink-182 in the video) and “Miserable” (featuring Pamela Anderson in the video), both also shot up the charts, driving the album to go platinum in the US. Despite the shocking loss of drummer Allen Shellenberger, Lit continued to develop a devoted fan following as they progressively evolved their sound from pop punk to a more country influence. Lit has maintained a constant festival and touring presence, including Warped Rewind At SeaRockfestDownload Festival, and Driftwood Festival. The band is currently A.Jay Popoff (Vocals), Jeremy Popoff (Guitar), Kevin Baldes (Bass), and Terry Sterling (Drums).

“Summer 2018 Loudwire Gen X Tour is gonna be one for the books!! All Cali bands, all old buddies from the office, who could ask for more right?? Except maybe a few thousand American rock and roll fans cruising out to the show to party and receive what we deliver.” – Terry Corso (Alien Ant Farm)

Since the formation of Riverside, CA’s Alien Ant Farm in 1995, the quartet has enjoyed worldwide success. Over the course of their four studio albums, cumulative sales surpass five million units a Grammy nomination and 4 top 10 singles. The band built a massive following on the road early in their career via high profile 2001 runs with Linkin ParkPapa RoachWarped, and as the headliner on an MTV presented Fall Tour. In 2002, fame spread across the world, bringing Alien Ant Farm to the major European festivals, Australia’s Big Day Out and a headline run in Japan. The following year they returned to Europe with Metallica, and to this day the band has steadily delivered audiences in territories across the globe. Alien Ant Farm is currently touring with Dryden Mitchell (Vocals), Mike Cosgrove (Drums), Terry Corso (Guitar), and Tim Peugh (Bass).

Divine Era Releases “Defense and Choice” Off of ‘Scripture Codes Summon Suicidal Thoughts’

LA based groove metal artist DIVINE ERA has released the fourth track, “Defense and Choice,” off of his third full-length album, Scripture Codes Summon Suicidal Thoughts. “Defense and Choice” introduces listeners to front-man and mastermind Daisuke Wachi’s unique style of catchy groove metal with brutal screams and a long, tasteful guitar solo.

 Defense and Choice

“Thematically, “Defense” battles loneliness. Struggling within the congestion of a large city, surrounded by millions of unknown people is a form of solitary confinement. Every choice in this current position only faces another dead end. All the compiling chaos, frustrating living conditions and anger felt toward other people only creates emptiness. I will not blame myself for these conditions any longer. I accept them.” – Divine Era

JOE SETTINERI Releases Official Music Video for Poignant Pop Gem, “Hello Goodbye”

American Singer/Song-writer JOE SETTINERI has released the official music video for his impassioned pop single “Hello Goodbye.” Originally premiered on Paste Magazine, “Hello Goodbye” was written in collaboration with platinum Nashville-based producer Mike Krompass (Smash Mouth, Nellie Furtado).

“Love lost, regret, and the power of saying, “goodbye.” Moving on, though is rarely that simple. Our love lives are tangles of good and bad – pushing and pulling – never wanting to let go, yet, needing to break free. Searching for that allusive feeling of ‘true’ happiness. Did we give up too soon? Will we ever know? Why can’t we forget? Does clarity ever present itself? This song emotively asks these questions and explores the purposeful intention to move on and the confusing, often conflicting emotions that come with it.
I said goodbye, but why can’t I forget?”
Searching for clarity — finding a new path – is never easy.” – Joe Settineri

player

“Clarity is never an easy path when it comes to this emotion called love, however, what Joe Settineri brings is his ardent musical talents as he carries his lyrics of rich passion simply and understandably. Joe’s vocals and the embracing notes from his piano show his arrival time is welcomed in the world of pop music while the video imagery is the perfect compliment to the heart of “Hello Goodbye.” Simply put, Joe Settineri’s music delivers the power to believe in love again.” – Paste Magazine

“… American singer-songwriter Joe Settineri has a habit of writing love songs, but just listen to his music and you’ll understand why … and understand the power of Joe Settineri.”

Originally from the mid-west, Los Angeles based singer songwriter Joe Settineri was a late bloomer. After the music world wooed him away from a finance career, and years spent being one of a handful of go-to singers in Los Angeles, Settineri established himself as an exceptional singer-songwriter in 2009 with his widely praised first studio album, STAY (LML Records). His second full studio album, BEYOND YOUR CONTROL, was released 2014 and followed up by his most recent EP, BE THE ONE in 2017.

Joe’s newest singles, “HELLO GOODBYE,” “BATMAN CRIES,” and “OXYGEN,” all collaborations with multi-platinum Nashville-based producer Mike Krompass (Smash Mouth, Nellie Furtado), are slated for release in summer 2018.

Joe lives in Los Angeles with his husband and two children.

Built to last and refusing to follow the Indie music scene that has been dominating California, Dirty Machine has tasked themselves with bringing homegrown American Nu Metal back to the forefront of the industry. Based out of Los Angeles, the crowd this band draws has been moshing to their down-tuned rhythm since 2012. Consisting of David Leach (front man), Darren Davis (guitar, vocals), Arnold Quezada (guitar), Ben Jovi (Bass). NIGHTMARE (percussion), and DJ Ecusa (turntable); the members of Dirty Machine have brought together their eclectic musical backgrounds to form a powerhouse group that will not be fading away anytime soon.

Whether it is progressing forward with their music or thrashing around on stage, Dirty Machine is always in a state of constant motion. This is a band that does not believe in standing still. With a passionate enthusiasm for their craft which is rarely seen in today’s music, the members of Dirty Machine can make even the most standoffish crowd start head banging. Every live performance is a wildly spirited event.

Dirty Machine has done everything from headlining the Jägermeister stage at the 2016 Kansas City Rockfest to playing a sold out show at the House of Blues Sunset Strip and Viper Room. They have opened for acts such as P.O.D., Hed PE, Otep, Metalachi, Orgy and toured with Insane Clown Posse on “The Great Milenko” tour. Although they are based out of California, they are getting regular airtime on the leading Kansas City rock station 98.9fm and have been taking the state of Missouri and Michigan by storm. Dirty Machine is steadily conquering America one state at a time through their street team, rabid fan base, and the far reaching scope of internet radio.

THE COLOUR YOU Releases Official Music Video for “Set Me Free”

Alternative Rock Band THE COLOUR YOU has released the official music video for their single, “Set Me Free.” Originally premiered on Alternative Press Facebook Live, “Set Me Free” was filmed and directed by Sidney Lee Lopez.

player

“Essentially, ‘Set Me Free’ is about questioning whether or not someone could/should be a means of escape from the hell in your head. On one side you’ve got this damaged soul looking for an escape, and on the other there is this beautiful angel-like figure who’s intrigued by the danger of this damaged “bad boy” image, but not quite brave enough to be that escape.” – Julian Comeau (Vocals)

Divine Era Releases ‘Scripture Codes Summon Suicidal Thoughts’

LA based groove metal artist DIVINE ERA has released his third full length album, Scripture Codes Summon Suicidal Thoughts, an 11 track, intensely layered collection of face melting metal tracks.

player

“Divine Era’s music is strongly influenced by Pantera and old Machine Head. This newest album, “Scripture Codes Summon Suicidal Thoughts,” definitely has that old school heavy metal vibe. I sing and scream throughout the groovy riffs entwine with calculated drum patterns.

I love playing guitar solos. You will hear plenty on this LP. I’m not much of a shredder. I do my own thing with feel and a lot of chicken picking. My main personal influences are Dimebag Darrell, SRV and Zakk Wylde.
The main focus is to not only write groovy songs that make people move, but to compose different sounding songs; each with its own color making them all easily identifiable.

I’m very happy with how this album came out and hope you enjoy listening as well.” – Divine Era
