Cinematic Metal/Industrial band TERRORBYTE has released the official music video for their single, “Worldstar,” off of their upcoming full length album, CRIMEWAVE.
“‘WORLDSTAR’ — the first single off our new upcoming full length CRIMEWAVE is meant to be a big middle finger to all the people and circumstances in our lives who didn’t believe in us and tried to tear us down. ‘Worldstar‘ is an Emmure-meets-Linkin Park-meets-Slipknot nu-metal anthem for all the underdogs up against the odds, or anyone out there who is fighting to survive or make their dream come true.” – TERRORBYTE
Michigan based hardcore rock band STATE OF MINE has released the Official Music Video for “What Hurts the Most,” which was produced and directed by Drake Whelton at White Knuckle Films.
“A couple loses everything when they can’t stop cheating and drinking. Torn apart but full of regret, and we are the choir to her inner thoughts. Our video is the illustration of her reflection on their relationship.” – State Of Mine
Established in 2010, State Of Mine is made up of five life long friends who hail from the small town of Laingsburg, Michigan. Comprising this band of diehard metal heads are vocalist-Steve, lead guitar-Shawn, rhythm guitar-Matt, bass-Corey and drummer-Mike. While we are a bonfire sitting, horsepower loving, and concert going crew, we are most at home on the stage. Its where everyone and anyone is welcome.
Our roots are from every aspect of music, ranging from Pantera, Slipknot, to Journey and even Motown’s finest jams…. we are Michigan boys after all!
It’s been a crazy few years for us, from going from 1,000 fans to over 57,000 in just over a year, to playing alongside bands like Adelitas Way, Buckcherry, Deadset Society, Soil,Bobaflex, Saving Abel, Zach Meyers of Shinedown, Saliva, PowerMan 5000, Three Years Hollow, Otherwise and many more. Playing shows in Indiana, Ohio, Las Vegas and countless shows in Michigan. With the help of B.J. Perry of Wall of Sound (I prevail’s producer) we released our first EP (St8 of Mine) in April of 2015 and our most recent sophomore EP Devil in Disguise was released September 2016. Our music had graced iTunes top 200 almost daily, receiving tens of thousands of streams daily and over 40 million views on YouTube. Gaining more and more recognition every day.
Our goal is to spread our music to be the sound track of our fans!

Experimental video and musical artist Precious Child has released a provocative, NSFW new music video debuting their new release “WHOLE.” Created in collaboration with transmasculine multimedia digital artist/director Cade, and premiered on Paper Magazine, the video explores body horror, dysmorphia and abstraction of gender and identity in Precious’ vivid visual style.
“I directed ‘WHOLE’ at a time when I was at the cusp of reinventing my gender identity, both socially and biologically,” Cade shares. “In the video we allude to swapping bodies in a sci-fi scenario. We explore the controversial notion of ‘borrowing women’s struggle’ in a scene where blood travels from my vein through a tube and into Precious’ crotch, creating a simulated period. The experience itself was a ritual, as we both bled.”
Precious Child adds, “I think individuals should decide what they like and what they want to do with their body, accoutrements, lifestyle, and persona without regard to convention. The various symbols and signifiers are arbitrary.”
With the release of this new video, Precious Child announced they will release a new body of work WHOLE this spring. The album expands on the concepts explored in “My Little Problem (Violet Door)” and visual mini-album released last fall, Just A Body. In addition to the upcoming release, they are working on further new music with multiplatinum producer Ulrich Wild (Slipknot, Stone Temple Pilots, White Zombie, Deftones) and members of Filter and Puscifer.
Bloody, arresting, and surreal, Precious Child exists at the convergence of conceptual art and experimental music. The Los Angeles-based artist culls sonic inspiration from mainstream pop, industrial and metal to create confrontational and captivating audiovisual work. Precious Child’s 2017 album TRAPPED marked the beginning of the artist’s close collaboration with Cade, whose work explores the worlds of fetish, gender deconstruction and post-internet intimacy. Their first collaborative release was the video for “My Little Problem (Violet Door)“, which premiered via Paste Magazine, along with “Phantom”, an experiential audiovisual artist’s statement for TRAPPED. The videos have garnered a combined 1.65 million views across social platforms.
Prior to TRAPPED, Precious Child released full lengths Bloody Knees (2015), accompanied by a music video for “I Fall” featuring America’s Next Top Model alumni Nina Burns, and ESCAPE (2016), a soundtrack composed for the Neil Gaiman biopic “Dream Dangerously.” With the release of ESCAPE, Precious Child collaborated with Alabama artist Yonderpuss on video work accompanying the songs “Magic is Real” and “To Need”.

The band quickly built a rabid underground following, especially in the Kansas City area, due to getting regular airtime on the leading Kansas City rock station “98.9 The Rock” and headlining the Jägermeister Stage at the 2016 Kansas City Rockfest. Dirty Machine has shared the stage with Ghost, Sixx AM, Disturbed, Trivium, Hell Yeah, Alien Ant Farm, Otep, Metalachi, and Orgy.
Lafayette, LA based Alternative Hardcore band CRYPT has released the Official Music Video for their debut single, “Death Makes A Holiday”. Directed and shot by Alexander Breaux.
The dark reality of major events that took place in the past usually don’t show up in your textbooks. Death is so prevalent in history and we have been really intrigued by those events so we decided to write about them. Fuck writing about ex-girlfriends and sad shit. We just feel like that’s played out. This song and video are about the last public execution in the United States. It was such a major event, people traveled hundreds of miles to witness someone’s life end. I feel like if that had happened today it would be much different. We just want to show how times have changed in comparison to everything you consume on your phone and tv. – Andre Noel
“We want to rejuvenate anyone we touch. The 14-year-old kid who loves his guitar but is afraid to start a band, we want them to start a band. The listener who is discouraged in the new wave of music being released, we want them to be excited that raw music is coming back. We want to gain genuine connection. Fuck the fashion, fuck the gimmick, fuck anything that doesn’t come down to true hard music. Because that’s what we are here to do.” – Canaan Frederick
South Louisiana is a corner of the map that carves out some of the most diverse and unique people you will ever meet. When these people come together to form and idea, creative sparks fly. CRYPT is a prime example of how those creative sparks can manifest into a burning fire.
Residing from Lafayette, Louisiana, CRYPT is a 4 piece progressive and aggressive rock band looking to set themselves apart from other acts. Whether its gritty guitar riffs, the unique style of charismatic vocals, or the unconfined attitude, they aim to leave no fan disappointed. Proof of this can be found through their incredibly high energy performances as well as their no holds barred songs which are based around touchy subjects through history that usually can’t be found in a textbook.
CRYPT’s key influences as a whole are pulled from bands like Rage Against the Machine, Chevelle, Letlive, and Slipknot, just to name a few. But don’t be fooled. Vocalist Canaan Frederick emphasizes, “Each member has different personal influences dating back from the sounds and attitude of NWA, to the progressive style of The White Stripes, and into today’s modern Hardcore market. Our focus has become to mesh all of those sounds together to create something that is true. Something that cannot be mistaken or replicated. We want our fans to know our sound.
Future plans for CRYPT are to begin a full-scale touring schedule that will acquire them a larger fan base and more exposure. The band also anticipates sharing the stage with more regional and national acts with the long-term goal of booking onto a festival tour in 2018. In conjunction with ramping up touring, they plan on finishing and releasing their first release with Jonathan Dolese of KonKrete Studios.
CRYPT invites you to experience their music live, or through their current single “Death Makes A Holiday”. “CRYPT is CRYPT,” Guitarist Stephen Hogan says, “we are here to define what we are through what we release. It completely encompasses rock and roll. We don’t fit into a mold and we believe that our music proves that.”
Hard Rock/ Heavy Metal band Edge of Paradise has released the Official Music Video for “Alive” off of their upcoming EP. Directed by Val Rassi, “Alive” and is taken from Edge Of Paradise’s upcoming release of the same name. A 5 song EP produced by Chuck Johnson (Korn, Slipknot) and mixed by Jay Ruston(Anthrax, Pop Evil…), Mike Plotnikoff, and Michael Wagener, ALIVE is due out 3/10 via ILS/Universal!
Front woman, Margarita Monet, states “This song is extremely contagious, with the heavy hitting/ industrial beat, and a chorus that’ll get your blood pumping!”
“ALIVE is dealing with us humans being so caught up in the digital world, obsessed with convenience and monetary gain, we have begun to sacrifice our humanity. We are becoming corporate led consumer machines! We get lost in the enticing virtual reality that we forget what real human interaction feels like. Sometimes I want to break away from bombardment of advertisements, social standards, never ending race with time and just breathe, and remember what it’s like to feel alive! To connect with our fellow humans and the world!
Production wise, the band is exploring it’s heavier side, with the new industrial edge, yet keeping the band’s dynamic and melodic sound!
“This is our best music to date! We were so fortunate to work with amazing, powerhouse people on this CD, and are confident that the outcome is the most exciting Edge Of Paradise musical experience yet!”
Edge Of Paradise have toured over 30 states and are excited to hit the road again in the spring. This year the band plan to tour US, South America, and Europe with an already set date at the Female Metal Event in Eindhoven, Netherlands, playing alongside Delain.
“We are working with a great team of people and are excited to bring our show to you and meet all of you awesome music fans out there!”
